21st District

The 21st District is a Balanced District

We’ve had Republican representatives, while also supporting smart Democrats like Sherrod Brown and Hillary Clinton.

Why I Decided to Run for Office

Running for office was never my life’s plan, but in today’s political climate, we need more people with expertise to make decisions on facts, not politics.

I am a nationally recognized expert in interprofessional collaboration in medical education, and will bring an approachable and collaborative expertise into our local politics.

About Our District

My favorite part of our district is our connections;  there are only a few degrees of separation between us all. We also have amazing schools, libraries, events, and  growing diversity.

From apartments to mansions, we represent a small part of the thriving metropolitan area in and around Columbus.

67.6
percent have higher education degrees
54
percent are undecided or independent voters
52.9
percent are in married households
33
percent of population are between 25-40

Memories in the District

Everywhere I go in our district I’m reminded of how much this community has contributed to my life. We have grown together over the years.
St. Peter church is where I was confirmed, married, and where my children were baptized and received their first communion.
The Dublin Village AMC movie theater where I got my first job as a teenager is the same place we go for our family movies.
Thomas Worthington High School has great memories. Two of my closest friends from high school are on my campaign team.
When Discovery Playground was first built, I spent evenings there with friends. My daughter was a student leader to re-do this playground for the next generation.
The Brookside Country Club golf course that I walked across (carefully) to visit friends in elementary school is the place we celebrated both of my sisters’ weddings.
The restaurant my husband and I went to on our first date is the same one that my sisters and I held our parent’s surprise 60th birthday party.
